For all you fashionista’s out there you probably hit all the sales and clearances early this summer getting ready for the fall. Stores start getting ready for the summer by getting rid of fall and winter clothes. This makes for the perfect time for consumers and fashion fabulous women to get their fall wardrobe cheaper. But for those of us who live in the moment, when summer’s heat hit we didn’t want to see another coat or pair of boots.

Another favorite by Gary Harvey Creative design is the Military Dress. I wrote about the Newspaper Dress, which was ‘Fabu’ and then I saw this dress. The military dress is appropriate with what is going on in the country right now, not to mention stylish and fashionable. I would actually buy the Military Dress and wear it one of the military balls, and look GORGEOUS, I might add.
The dress is creatively made using 28 army jackets which have been cut up and made into a “Fishtail” cocktail dress. From experience with military gear, I can attest to the fact that this is sure to be one heavy-duty last forever dress. You certainly won’t have to take it easy when you wear this dress.
The shape of the dress is beautiful, giving the perfect hourglass shape. Even if you aren’t as curvy as you’d like, you sure could fake it with the Military Dress. The figure flattering dress hugs in all the right places and the cinching at the knee gives one heck of an end to powerful and attractive dress.
Every military wife should have one! A dress that supports your husband and supports you, literally.

This dress caught my eye and I had to write about it. Full dresses have always been a love of mine, so when I saw this, it interested me, alot. The Newspaper dress, by Gary Harvey, is composed of 30 copies the Financial Times which were folded and attached to a salmon pink corset to create the skirt. This is a perfect way to use a disposable product for other functional purposes.
This is certainly women’s fashion. Women are known for wearing clothes more for their fashion appeal than for the comfort and practicality factor. I ,for one, am guilty of that. And yes, I would be caught alive wearing this and looking FABULOUS!

So, this past weekend was our big BACK TO SCHOOL SHOPPING day. We went straight to the malls…you know, the only place teen’s believe you can shop. Let’s say we were in SALE heaven. There were so many great sales. I, of course, had to pick up a few items of my own. A wonderful pair of white linen pants, every girl must have atleast one pair, and a pair of dark khaki dockers. I have to brag I only paid 16.00 for the pair, each bought separately at different stores. But what a great bargain, I couldn’t pass them up.
For “the teen” I had to get loads of fashion T-shirts, denim, and jeans…oh yeah, don’t let me forget the highly coveted Converse shoes. The clearance sales were BANANAS!! Here are the best bargains I found while out and about at the mall.

This is one BAD purse, bad in a good way, of course! I love it! Available in Burgundy or Black, this purse is well fitted for any occasion. In the black the touch of red on the strap adds just enough interest to keep it from looking ordinary, like this purse could be considered ordinary! This is what I call a pleated purse. I can see it looking unbelievable with a pencil skirt and figure fitting shirt. FIERCE! It makes me think of a swan, the pleats imitating the swans shape and feathers…very nice!

Paypal is now offering some pretty good savings on back to school products. It’s as easy as using your Paypal to pay for items and you get discounts. You can save up to 50% from select companies. This time of year you have to spend so much on back to school, might as well get some discounts whenever you can. I can’t live without my Buxom Lip gloss. It is supposed to be a lip plumper, but I haven’t noticed a change when I use it. But I love the feel of it when I put it on.
